The Travel Prep Continues
I think we've remembered everything we needed to get done in the past few days. We have our flight tickets, our visas, we've purchased the cutest (and supposedly one of the safest) infant seat, we wired our foreign fee to VN, I brought our clothes to the cleaners, we bought me a fake name brand purse (not really travel prep but...), and I just finished e-filing our taxes.
Brad's right here and wants me to mention that he didn't get to buy himself anything new "as usual". He must have forgotten about all the money he spent this past week on football pools!
Please forward any last minute parenting tips this week as I never did finish reading those 10,000 parenting books I got!

I am so happy for you two!! Don't worry about the parenting books. I know you'll do fine! Just love him with all your heart, be patient when the cries never seem to stop, lock away the memories of his first smiles at you, and look forward the first time you hear "mama" and "dada". I hope you have a safe trip. Wish we could get your report before we leave, but we'll probably be leaving right after you get back...and I know you'll be busy! Good luck! We look forward to your updates!!!
SO glad to see your almost there. My best advice is to trust your mommie's instinct. You will know your baby best within a short time. Trust what you know and feel...you'll know when he is tired, sick, etc. It's amazing how as mother's we can sense things.
